In my piece “altertümlich”, I engage with various musical styles that I deeply appreciate, yet at the same time perceive as outdated.

The work begins with a fugue, transitions into a melodrama accompanied by twelve-tone music, followed by a section in the style of New Music with a beat. In the penultimate part, a reprise appears, which gradually dissolves into a single tone.
